HeyFiniHeyFini press kit
HeyFini is a baby tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch that predicts feeds, sleep and diaper changes, keeps all data in the user's private iCloud and works without an account, tracking or ads. Developed by Felix Plaschka in Grassau, Bavaria.
New in HeyFini 4.3: baby monitor 2.0
- Picture in Picture: the parent station’s live video keeps running as a small window when you leave the app.
- Apple Watch: tile with connection, noise level and battery; alarms with picture and haptics straight over the Watch link, even with the app open.
- Alert as soon as the baby station starts.
- Care sheet: a one-page PDF for grandma and the babysitter, free.
- Walks: GPS distance on request, on the device only.
- Sync via iCloud now also in the background.
New in HeyFini 4.0, September 2026
- Rhythm profile: median of the last 14 tracked days per measure, rule-based on the iPhone, no language model.
- Today vs. Normal and HeyFini noticed: deviations as number against number, never as a judgement; optionally as a morning notification.
- Connections: 39 fixed questions, from 21 days on, at least five days per side, never phrased as a cause.
- Predictions as a time window (10 to 45 minutes) with the explaining sheet “Why this prediction?”.
- Say it instead of typing: on-device speech recognition in four languages; Siri understands amounts.
- Teeth with a dental chart for all 20 milk teeth, walks without location tracking, mood tags, night layout, search, solids suggestion “What to give today?”.

The story behind it
HeyFini was born in 2026 when developer Felix Plaschka became a father and couldn't find a baby app that thinks ahead instead of merely logging the day – and that does so without an account or tracking. More in the story.
